My desert treat

If i could brig any five things to te edesert with me it wold be:

. My bestfriend, Sarah
. Endless Supply of food
. endless supply of cooking supplies
. A computer with web cam
. And a first Aid Kit with sunblock and my astma pump

I would being my bestfriend sarah because she keeps me on tack. When ever i get upset she can always make me feel better. I would bring an endless supply of food because i am a growing man and i need my food. I would bring a computer with web cam because i could talk t to my friends and family and plus i'll ahve the internet and music. oh and i forgot to say that i would bring food supplies so i can cook all my food. And lastly i'll bring a first aid kit with sun block so i dont get any blacker and with all hat heat my astma would start to act up and i'll need to control it.

After having been there for six months to a year i think that my frind Sarah would kind of grow dull on me. i think she wont grow dull on mr to the point where i want to kill her but she will probely start to make me upset faster. I dont ever really get nad at her but after a year with her everyday i start to grow a shorter tolirence for her because she would never let me do anything wrong and somtimes acting up is fun.

My not so secret, Secret

The last time i told somone a secret was just last week. I told my bestfriend Sarah that i liked her friend, who was VERY CRAZY. I didn't want anyone to know because whae i say CRAZY i mean CRAZY and i would of been made fun of, and yes i do care about what other people think about me. Sarah told her friend that i liked her. Me and Sarah's friend have a class together and when Sarah first told her friend that i like her class would be super akwared. I told Sarah that knew she told her friend because that way she was acing. I didn't really get mad because it's Sarah i dont ever really get mad at her. She apoligized like she does about everything, but she said she thought i wanted her to tell her friend what i said but i didn't. Eventhough i didn't want Sarah to Tell her friend that i liked her some good came out of it. Sarah's friend is super nice to me now and we kind of talk.

best place ever

The best place ever for me would have to be Chicago. It's a place I call
home. I wasn't born there, but I have spent half of my life there. When
I'm there I felt untouchable. I don't have to worry about anything. It's
a place that gives me this felling that cant be explained. The moment I
get there I get the biggest smile on my face that shows I''m glade to be there.Its fun,exciting and very intersting.

One of the reason I like chicgo so much because I have a lot of family there. In the neighborhood i stay in when I'm in chicago I know everyone all around there. Even thought all of us are not related, we still are in some sort of way because we all lived in the same neighborhoor. I also like chicago a lot because its fun. Whenever I go to Chicago I have soo much fun. I could stand on the porch and have a balst. Going downtown Chicago is one of the best places to visit. It has a lot of things to do and see there thats why I like it.

what ticks me off.

The Minneapolis public school board is what makes me upset. The reason why they upset me is because they make Minneapolis schools look worse than they really are. They are always taking, taking, taking, but they dont ever want to give. They think that the stuff that they take like, food, money, teachers and a lot of other things, is helping the students, but in reality it's just making high school tougher. They also make me upset because they dont live up to their word. I have sat with the board members numerous times and they offered many things that they were going to contribute but i haven't seen any positive changes since.

The MPSB has taken away a lot and one of the most things i that they have tried to take away is our teachers. Ever few years teachers have to renew their contracts and this year MPSB decided that they wanted to take important things from our teachers. I dont know all the facts but i do know they too away seniority. Meaning that even if you have been teaching for a while you still can be pinked sliped. They also took away benifits when teachers salery dont even stay up with inflation. Now with things like this, some teachers are thinking about quiting. Teachers that have build relationships with students.

my deathbed lesson

As i die i want all of my friends and family to know that i love them. i would also like them to know that life is a game, and the only way to win is to do what you love and love what you are doing. That the nicest people are the ones that are well likde and being well liked is important. The more people you know ,the easer it is to win. Always say thank you because it could change the outcome in a lot of things. Always stay true to your real friends and know that those that dont say i love you or express the way they fell about you are only temps, people that will only be there temparely. You should alsp keep your prioreties straight,dont let little things have such a big burden on you and let some things be. Dont get so worked up about little things.Always fight for what you believe in and if you are passionate about something dont let anyone get in the way of that.

Arthur's iNfO

My name is Arthur Taylor and i'm an 11th grader in the Open S.L.C. I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 4th 1991. I moved to Chicago Illinois when i was five. I moved back to Minnesota June 23rd 2001. I went to Sanford Middle school for the 6th grade and Banneker Middle school for 7th and 8th, because the funding for bus service was cut, I was no longer able to attend Sanford. I knew i was going to attend South from the day my sister started. When I started at South High my main focus was to be well known and well liked when it should of been getting good gades. Since my mind was focused on other things I slacked a lot in class. To pay for all my slacking, I have to spend my Monday's and Tuesdays after school doing credit make up. I dont mind it because its kind of fun and Mr. Schmit is kind of tight.
